29 CFR  1910.244(a)(2)(iii): Loads were not cribbed, blocked or otherwise secured immediately after being raised with a jack:  a) On or about December 7, 2021, and at times prior, the employer, Volm Companies, Inc., did not ensure employees were protected from crushing hazards due to unsafe lifting procedures when moving a bailing machine. This bailer, weighing approximately 3,300 lbs, fell on its side as it was being lifted using a bottle jack and severely injured an employee.  Workers were exposed to injuries due to exposure around and under machinery raised by bottle jacks while the machine was not supported by an alternate means.
