29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):  Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a) At the jobsite, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10-feet 3-inches and greater when they used an aluminum extension ladder that was not set three feet above the roof landing.

29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:  a) At this jobsite, employees operating pneumatic nail guns were exposed to struck-by hazards when they did not wear eye protection.  Jose Manuel Rojas was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1500635, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 22,2020, with respect to a workplace located at 5173 Arbor Cove Court, Alvin, Texas 77511.

Jose Manuel Rojas was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1500635, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on December 22,2020, with respect to a workplace located at 5173 Arbor Cove Court, Alvin, Texas 77511.
