29 CFR 1926.416(e)(2): Extension cords were fastened with staples, hung from nails, or suspended by wire: a) Veterans Health Administration, Building 1/floor ward 1A: On or about December 09, 2021, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to an electrical hazard, in that an extension cord being used to power a portable reciprocating saw (1st Saw) was hung by metal fasteners to the ceiling. b) Veterans Health Administration, Building 1/floor ward 1A: On or about December 09, 2021, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to an electrical hazard, in that extension cord used to power a portable reciprocating saw (2nd Saw) was hung by metal fasteners to the ceiling c) Veterans Health Administration, Building 1/floor ward 1A: On or about December 09, 2021, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to an electrical hazard, in that extension cord being used to charge a tile stripper was hung by metal fasteners to the ceiling.
