On or about December 15, 2021 at jobsite located in 860 S. York Rd., Elmhurst, IL. 60126, employees were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 25 feet while engaged in residential framing activities. Fall protection was not being utilized while performing framing activities.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: On or about December 15, 2021, at jobsite located in 860 S. York Rd., Elmhurst, IL. 60126, employees performing framing activities at a new residential property were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 25 feet with no fall protection when the employer failed to ensure they were adequately trained to recognize and minimize the hazards associated with fall. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
