29 CFR  1910.303(b)(1):Examination. Electric equipment shall be free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Safety of equipment shall be determined using the following considerations:  On or about 12/16/2021, an employee was observed during normal operations driving a PIV (personal industrial vehicle) throughout the storage warehouse at 365 McClurg Road, Boardman, Ohio 44512; the employer did not ensure their employees working in this location were protected from a recognized electrical hazard. The two, four foot light fixtures were not enclosed as designed exposing equipment (PIV's) to an electrical charge. There were no practical safeguards in place keeping employees from the ability to come in contact with equipment.
