29 CFR  1926.451(c)(2):Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames,  or uprights did not bear on base plates and mud sills or other adequate firm foundation:  a) 1043 W. Main Street, Freehold, NJ:   Employees were exposed to fall hazards when the scaffolding was constructed without the use of base plates or mud sills on uneven ground.    Observed on or about November 10, 2022.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

Main Street, Freehold, NJ:   Employees were not protected from falls greater than 10 feet to the ground below when guardrail were not provided at the side and ends of each scaffold section.    Observed on or about November 10, 2021.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

Main Street, Freehold, NJ:   Employees were not protected from falls greater than 10 feet to the ground below when guardrail only consisted of a top rail and not a mid rail on a majority of the scaffolding sections.   Observed on or about November 10, 2021.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
