OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:   Jobsite:  The employees are making "plunge cuts" onto a piece of wood with a Dewalt 20-Volt MAX Cordless 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw on an inadequate work area, thus exposing them to being struck by the Dewalt Saw due to a kickback.  On or around December 19, 2022, an employee sustained serious lacerations to his pinky and ring finger on the left hand while operating a rip saw on a workbench, not specifically designed for woodworking, after the saw blade struck a wood screw and kicked back, striking the hand of the employee.
