29 CFR  1910.1001(k)(1):All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of ACM waste and debris and accompanying dust.  A)     The encapsulation of asbestos containing floor tiles in the loading dock vestibule and in the priority mail section of the main room was damaged to the point that it was no longer protecting the flooring from regular wear.  Over time employees could be exposed to airborne asbestos fibers resulting in illnesses such as asbestosis, or Mesothelioma.
