29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer had not ensured that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): On or about November 23, 2021, BNSF employees working on an interior office roof of the Water Services building removing an air compressor were exposed to falling 10 feet to the ground below due to the lack of fall protection systems being utilized.
