Employees engaged in rig repair activities in the main shop were exposed to caught-in and amputation hazards in that an employee was not kept clear of a suspended transfer case. Employees were replacing a transfer case for a drilling rig while utilizing a Yale GLP040VXEVSE084 and nylon straps to move the transfer case in place. While guiding the transfer case into place the load shifted and amputated part of an employees finger.
