The employer did not ensure employees working on the ground were protected from the possible danger of head injury from impact of falling objects or debris from working surfaces at heights of approximately 18 feet.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: On or about December 31, 2021, employees were exposed to a struck by hazard while performing roofing activity on a residential property located at 8066 Cleveland Ave. NW, North Canton, OH 44720. The employees were operating air powered nail guns without protective safety glasses.
