29 CFR  1910.1200(g)(8):  The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work  shift to employees when they were in their work area(s):  Laundry Room:  On or about January 05, 2022, the employer did not maintain the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical employees worked with including, but not limited to, the 73 Disinfecting Acid Bathroom Cleaner and Aquanomic 2.0 Low Temp Laundry Solid Detergent that were both identified as Category 1A corrosive chemicals by the manufacturer, Ecolab, Inc.

29 CFR  1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation.   Laundry room:  On or about January 05, 2022, employees authorized to perform service on commercial dryers did not receive training from the employer about the hazardous energy sources of the equipment and the necessary energy isolation procedures required such as utilizing a tagout system while technicians cleared out lint from the back of the dryers.
