29 CFR  1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition was not taken out of service, and/or repairs were not made by authorized personnel:   On January 4, 2022, and times prior thereto, in the production area, the employer did not ensure the Clark forklift was taken out of service for repairs until repairs were made by an authorized person. The forklift had backup alarm that was not operational exposing employees to struck-by hazards.
