29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about January 06, 2022, employee(s) conducting removal of damaged trusses as part of construction work on the roof of the structure were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately Fourteen (14) feet onto concrete and asphalt. (b) On or about January 06, 2022, employee(s) conducting removal of damaged Building materials as part of demolition and construction work from the second floor mezzanine of the structure were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately eight (8) feet, five (5) inches onto building materials and concrete.
