29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards: a.) USPS dba Oil City Main Post Office; north side of building - On or about 8/3/21, an employee conducting lawn care maintenance fell into a hole in the ground and was injured. [DELETED BY ISA] b.) USPS dba Oil City Main Post Office; north side of building - On or about 1/10/22, and at times prior thereto, employees conducting lawn care and general maintenance were exposed to a 21-inch deep, 21-inch wide hole in the ground. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
