29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a. 1100 Dark Moon Rd., Johnsonburg, NJ - Shop  The employer did not ensure guards were provided to protect employees from the hazards of rotating parts.  Employees engaged in the manufacture of rubber hoses used Sew-Eurodrive machines which the hose mandrel was attached using bolts that extended more than 4 inches, which rotated and were not  protected with guards.  Violation occurred on or about January 11, 2022
