29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): Guard for abrasive wheel machine where the operator stands in front of the machine was not constructed so that the peripheral protecting member could be adjusted to the constantly decreasing diameter of the wheel:  a)	Capitol Finishes, Incorporation, Warehouse: On or about 01/10/2022, an employee used a 6" Dayton bench grinder Model #42123G to sharpen chisels without a tongue guard as a result employee was exposed to possible lacerations resulting from a fragment abrasive wheel.    No abatement certification or documentation required.

29 CFR 1915.134(b): Work rests were not kept a distance not to exceed 1/8 inch from the surface of the wheel:  a)	Capitol Finishes, Incorporation, Warehouse: On or about 01/10/2022, an employee used a 6" Dayton bench grinder Model #42123G to sharpen chisels with the tool rest lowered away from the front surface of the abrasive wheel thus exposed employee to possible lacerations resulting from fingers in contact with abrasive wheel.  No abatement certification or documentation required.

29 CFR 1904.30(a): Located at establishment, for multiple business establishments, the employer did not keep a separate OSHA 300 Log for each establishment that is expected to be in operation for one year or longer, such as, but limited to the Richmond location:  a)	Capitol Finishes, Incorporation, Warehouse: On or about 01/11/2022, the employer failed to keep separate OSHA 300 logs for their Maryland construction (NAICS #238330) and Virginia maritime (NAICS #336611) establishments.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.334(a)(3)(ii): Attachment plugs and receptacles were altered to allow the grounding pole of a plug to be inserted into slots intended for connection to the current carrying conductors:  a)	Capitol Finishes, Incorporation, Warehouse: On or about 01/11/2022, a Metabo concrete grinder equipped with a polarized plug, was replaced with a 3-prong plug.  No abatement certification or documentation required.
