29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) On January 12, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees engaged in commercial roofing operations were not protected from fall hazards while working at an elevation of approximately fifteen (15) feet above the ground. Gene's Construction, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1550681, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on October 15, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 3834 N. Claremont Avenue, Chicago, IL.
