29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch: Upper Lake Ranger District, Main Workshop: The Baldor bench grinder (Serial No. HD610301795) work rest opening was 1/4 of an inch when measured. Employees were exposed to struck-by/caught-in hazards. The U. S. Dept. of Agriculture, Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1470401, citation number 01, item number 002a and was affirmed as a final order on 05/26/2020, with respect to a workplace located at Groveland Ranger Distrect24545 Hwy. 120, Groveland, CA 95321.
