29 CFR 1910.28(b)(11)(i): Each employee exposed to an unprotected side or edge of a stairway landing that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was not protected by a guardrail or stair rail system: (a) Mezzanine Storage Area: On January 20, 2022, and times prior, employees access a stairway landing that was 9 feet 3 inches above ground level that was not equipped with an adequate guardrail system, in that it was not equipped with an intermediate railing. Abatement Note: Guardrail systems must meet the design criteria listed in 29 CFR 1910.29(b).
