29 CFR  1926.351(b)(4):Cables in need of repair shall not be used. When a cable, other than the cable lead referred to in paragraph (b)(2) of this section, becomes worn to the extent of exposing bare conductors, the portion thus exposed shall be protected by means of rubber and friction tape or other equivalent insulation.  On or about January 25, 2022, jobsite located at 9133 Collins Ave Surfside, Miami FL 33154; employees while using Kubota Corp. Arc Welder Model #D902-EF1 Whisperweld Model# DLW- 330 X 2 and SN 5760285 with a 28.0 voltage/280 amperage single phase were exposed to bare copper conductor wire located at the ground clamp/electrode holder and sections of the welding cable,  in need of repair while performing welding operations.
