29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in the activities covered by this section. On or about January 26, 2022 at Seguin Moreau Napa Cooperage, Inc. located at 4117 U.S. 61, Perryville, MO, employees were exposed to ingoing nip points and/or point of operation hazards. The employer did not ensure energy isolation procedures were being utilized while employees cleared jams of stave material, cleaned and changed tools on the EDJ 2 machine.
