29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. On January 26, 2022, employees using air compressor to energize pneumatic nail guns with the power cord outer sheathing pulled away from the terminal screws exposing internal wiring. Employees were exposed to electrical shock hazard.
