29 CFR 1910.95(i)(5): The employer did not ensure proper initial fitting and supervise the correct use of all hearing protectors: On January 27, 2022, employees were not adequately supervised on the correct use of hearing protection. Employees wearing formable ear plugs were not fully inserting the ear plugs into the ear canal per the manufacturer's guidelines. (a) East IAF Paint Booth; An employee was exposed to 90.9 dBA for a 10 hour shift with improperly donned hearing protection. (b) West IAF Paint Booth; An employee was exposed to 87.4 dBA for an 8 hour shift with improperly donned hearing protection.
