29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):  The employer did not ensure that each affected employee was using appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  Jobsite:  The employee, who was required to work near a pneumatic nail gun during installation of a rafter edge and eave, was not equipped with and required to wear eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b) (13):  The employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in residential roofing activities with unprotected sides and edges (6) feet or more above lower levels, was protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.   Jobsite:  The employer did not ensure each employee working from the roof of the residential building, was protected from fall hazards of approximately 20ft, by the means of guardrails, safety nets or personal fall arrest systems.
