29 CFR 1910.28(b)(8): The employer did not provide fall protection systems for repair pits, service pits, and assembly pits:  (a) School Bus, Inc. at 5100 West 8th Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57107:  On or about and at times prior to February 1, 2022, the employer did not ensure that the service pits within the maintenance shop were properly guarded.  This condition exposed employees to fall hazards into the 57 1/2 inch deep pit.  Abatement note:  Abatement can be completed utilizing 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(8)(i-iii).
