29 CFR 1926.303(d):All abrasive wheels and tools used by employees did not meet other applicable requirements of American National Standards Institute, B7.1-1970, Safety Code for the Use, Care and Protection of Abrasive Wheels: a) GRIC D3 MULTIPURPOSE BUILDING, ROOM E09: JV Tile and Flooring employees were cutting tile using a 4.5 inch Makita Angle Grinder Model GA4530, and did not have the side grip handle in place, exposing them to cut and struck by hazards. b) GRIC D3 MULTIPURPOSE BUILDING, ROOM E08: JV Tile and Flooring employees were cutting tile using a 4.5 inch Makita Angle Grinder Model XYG25, and did not have the side grip handle in place, exposing them to cut and struck by hazards.
