29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) At the site, on or about 2/8/2022, and on days prior to, in the pallet disassembly area, the chain for the conveyer belt bringing wood to the sorting table located less than 7 feet off of the floor was not enclosed by a guard, exposing employees working near it to amputation and crushing hazards.
