29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: 200 Banning Street Dover, DE: On or about February 15, 2022, the employer failed to provide training to employees who are exposed to hazardous chemical products to include but not limited to the speed clean sterilizer and Santi -Wipes cloths while performing duties as medical professionals. Abatement Note: Information and training must be conducted in accordance with paragraph (h) of this section. Additionally, the training must address: The hazard associated with exposure to sterilizer chemicals Preventive measures, including proper use and care of PPE and the importance of proper hygiene practices; and employee access to hygiene facilities, PPE and information ( including SDS)
