29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(i): The employee training did not include the methods and observations used to detect the presence or release of a hazardous chemical in the work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) Location: 656 Burnside Street East Hartford, CT: On or about 02/08/2022, an employee was exposed to carbon monoxide and was taken to the hospital due to poor training and lack of hazard awareness. The employee did not follow the safety requirements of the GS 461 ROCK BOSS saw manual that warned of toxic exhaust fumes during indoor use and in poorly ventilated spaces.
