29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch: (a) On or about February 10, 2022, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that the work rests on grinding machinery were adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of 1/8". Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards, in that a Craftsman 6" grinder was used while the work rest was not adjusted properly. The distance between the abrasive wheel and the work rest was over 1/4". Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.

Employees in the main shop were exposed to air injection hazards while using compressed air for cleaning purposes at pressures greater than 121 PSI.
