29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition:  a) Dollar General Store #8026 - 535 W Bacon St. Pembroke, GA 31321: The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent slip, trip and fall hazards as demonstrated on or about February 14, 2022 and times prior, in the store aisles, where employees move and re-stock merchandise.  To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure containers of new product are kept in an orderly manner and placed at the endcap of the aisle where the re-stocking is occurring.   b) Dollar General Store #8026 - 535 W Bacon St. Pembroke, GA 31321:The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent slip, trip and fall hazards as demonstrated on or about February 14, 2022 and times prior, in the store room, where employees move and retrieve stock.  To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure boxes of stored product are kept in an orderly manner.  Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection # 1535419, Citation # 1, Item # 1, and was affirmed as final order on January 4, 2022, with a respect to a workplace located at 5129 Cottage Hill Road, Mobile, AL 36609.  Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection # 1492446, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on March 9, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 655 Interchange Road Kresgeville, PA 18333.  Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection # 1439273, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 354 E Main St. Galesburg, IL 61401.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3):Exit route(s) are not kept free and unobstructed:  a) Dollar General Store #8026 - 535 W Bacon St. Pembroke, GA 31321: The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent obstruction hazards in exit routes as demonstrated on or about February 14, 2022 and times prior, in the store room, where employees move, store, and retrieve stock.  To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure the emergency exit route directly in front of the emergency exit door remains free of all obstructions at all times.  b) Dollar General Store #8026 - 535 W Bacon St. Pembroke, GA 31321: The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent obstruction hazards in exit routes as demonstrated on or about February 14, 2022 and times prior, from the manager's office, breakroom, and employee restroom (office corridor).  To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure the emergency exit route directly in front of the office corridor remains free of all obstructions at all times.  c) Dollar General Store #8026 - 535 W Bacon St. Pembroke, GA 31321: The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent obstruction hazards in exit routes as demonstrated on or about February 14, 2022 and times prior, in the rear aisle of the sales floor.  To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure the emergency exit routes in all the aisles remain free of all obstructions at all times.  d) Dollar General Store #8026 - 535 W Bacon St. Pembroke, GA 31321: The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent obstruction hazards in exit routes as demonstrated on or about February 14, 2022 and times prior, from the cash register to the nearest exit.  To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure the emergency exit route from the cash register to the nearest exit remain free of all obstructions at all times.  Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1555839, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 11, 2022 with respect to a workplace located at 1748 Us Route 1 Sullivan, ME 04664.  Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1510926, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 21, 2021 with respect to a workplace located at 12345 FM 1097 Willis, TX 77318.
