29 CFR 1910.22(d)(2): The employer did not ensure that hazardous conditions on walking-working surfaces are corrected or repaired before an employee uses the walking-working surface again. The employer did not ensure that if the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard is guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired: On or about February 7, 2022, the employer did not ensure the hazardous condition was corrected or properly repaired prior to allowing employees to use the walking working surface or guard the hazard until the hazard was corrected or repaired. Employees were exposed to slip/strip and struck by hazards by not properly affixing the pole/bollard in the transfer pod area located on the second floor west area.
