29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about 2/16/2022 employees at the Grand Luxury Apartments framing project were exposed to falls while engaged in residential construction activities without fall protection in the following locations: A) Employees were exposed to approximately 12' exterior falls while framing exterior walls. B) Employees were exposed to falls from unprotected window openings. Second story window openings were not protected resulting in exterior falls of approximately 14'. c) Employees were exposed to falls from unprotected stairwell openings. Second story stairway openings were not protected resulting in interior falls of approximately 9'.
