29 CFR 1910.95(j)(1):The employer did not evaluate hearing protector attenuation for the specific noise environments in which the protector will be used: On or about 2/16/2022 at the planer mill, the sound level meter readings approached 107 decibels and the employer had not conducted monitoring to determine the noise dose and efficacy of the hearing protection worn by employees working at and in close proximity to the planer, trim saw and conveyors.
