29 CFR  1926.453(b)(2)(i):  Lift controls were not tested each day prior to use to determine that such controls were in safe working condition:  (a)  At the RSU #1747 site, on or about February 18, 2022 and at times prior thereto, the lift controls of the Genie S-60X telescopic boom lift were not tested each day prior to use, exposing employees to struck-by and fall hazards.

29 CFR  1926.454(b)(2):  The employer did not have each employee who was involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the correct procedures for erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining the type of scaffold in question:  (a) At the RSU #1747 site, on or about February 18, 2022 and times prior thereto, employees moving and operating a Genie S-60X telescopic boom lift were not trained on the specific procedures required by the manufacturer to test the lift controls prior to use, exposing employees to struck-by and fall hazards.
