29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall protection system:  (a) Mariano Patlun at 508 West 21st Street in Yankton, SD 57078: On or about and at times prior to February 25, 2022, the exposing employer did not ensure employees removing snow from the second story of a jobsite were protected from fall hazards. Employees worked in close proximity to the building exterior when removing snow without utilizing an appropriate fall protection method. This condition exposed employees to an approximate 24 foot fall hazard.
