Multiple employees were engaged in trim installation, at multiple locations on the edge of the roof system without the use of a Personal Fall Arrest System or other fall protection system.  This condition exposed six employees to fall hazards greater than six feet.

Subcontractor employees were conducting parapet finishing  activities on a 1.5 /12 pitch roof, directly exposed to the edge of the roof system, without the use of fall protection equipment. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards of up to 30 feet to the ground below.     Abatement Note: OSHA defines a "competent" person as one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them.
