29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) is used, and at least annually thereafter: Workplace, 183 Raymond Blvd, Newark, NJ When the employer required 12 employees to wear half mask and full face negative pressure respirators while cleaning ash mixed with water in the Ferrous Recovery Building and Slipstick Alley that connects the Ferrous Recovery Building to the Boiler Room, the employer did not ensure that 5 the of those employees were fit tested annually. Violation occurred from 3-2-22 to the present.
