Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a)  Residential construction project located at 202 West 42nd Street, Savannah, GA 31401:  On or about March 3, 2022 and at times prior to, employees were exposed to fall hazards, in that the employer failed to protect employees from a 14.8-foot fall hazard in that there was no conventional fall protection being used by employees.  b)  Residential construction project located at 202 West 42nd Street, Savannah, GA 31401:  On or about March 3, 2022 and at times prior to, employees were exposed to fall hazards, in that the employer failed to protect employees from a 17.8-foot fall hazard in that there was no conventional fall protection being used by employees working on a step ladder from the 2nd floor porch.
