29 CFR 1926.602(a)(9)(ii): Earth moving or compacting equipment which had an obstructed view to the rear was operated in reverse gear; and such equipment did not have in operation a reverse signal alarm distinguishable from the surrounding noise level or did an employee signaled that it is safe to do so: On or about 2 March 2022, at the dry stack entrance area, Villa Marina, Fajardo. PR. A heavy equipment operator was operating a New Holland 395c front-end loader without an operable audible back-up alarm system. NOTE: Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
