29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Location: 273-283 East Kinney Street, Newark, NJ a). Employees received stacks of lumber for framing at the top edge of a two-story building under construction from a forklift without fall protection or other means of fall protection. The employees were exposed to fall hazards of about 20 ft. Violation observed on or about March 1, 2022 b). The employer failed to ensure that employees were protected from falling from an unprotected edge while performing framing work on a residential building. The employees were working at the height of approximately 30 feet from the ground without utilizing any form of fall protection. Violation observed on or about March 4, 2022
