29 CFR 1910.107(c)(6): Electrical wiring and equipment not subject to deposits of combustible residues but located in a spraying area as herein defined were not explosion-proof type approved for Class I, group D locations and did not otherwise conform to the provisions of subpart S of this part, for Class I, Division 1, Hazardous Locations: Painting area located at 211 Dekalb Industrial Way, Decatur, GA; On or about March 3, 2022, employees are required to prime cars and conduct paining in the shop area outside of the spray booths. Electrical equipment such as but is not limited to extension cords and electrical outlets are located in the shop area. The electrical equipment was not approved for the location, exposing employees to a fire hazard.
