29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems or a combination of warning line system and safety monitoring system. a) On or about 03/04/2022, at 4 State Street in Batavia, New York, the employer did not enforce the use of fall protection during the installation of roofing materials including tiles/shingles. Employees were allowed on elevated surfaces 16 feet above lower levels to install roofing materials without the use of fall protection. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
