29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii):Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): 109 Chace Hill Road, Sterling, MA: On February 2, 2022 and at times prior, employees who placed wood by hand into the MultiTek Firewood Processor were exposed to crushed by hazards of the unguarded splitting area. On February 2, 2022, an employee received a thumb tip amputation injury while placing wood to be split.
