29 CFR  1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system:  a. 1788 Natural Area Drive, Gainesville, FL;  On or about March 8, 2022, on a 1/4:12 pitch roof, employees roofing a commercial building were not protected from a 8 foot 1.5 inch fall hazard by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or any alternative fall protection.

Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a. 1788 Natural Area Drive, Gainesville, FL;  On or about March 8, 2022, on a 9:12 pitch roof, an employee roofing a commercial building was not protected from a 25 foot 7.5 inch fall hazard by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or any alternative fall protection.
