29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(7): Ladders were used on slippery surfaces and secured or provided with slip-resistant feet to prevent accidental displacement. Slip-resistant feet were to be used as a substitute for care in placing, lashing, or holding a ladder that is used upon slippery surfaces including, but not limited to, flat metal or concrete surfaces that are constructed so they cannot be prevented from becoming slippery. Location:7 Astro Place, Rockaway, NJ 07866 - Warehouse Loading Dock a) Employees were exposed to slip and fall hazards while conducting warehouse loading dock door repairs at approximately 15 feet while standing on a 20 foot extension ladder that was wet and stood on a flat, smooth concrete surface that accumulated dripping water. The incident occurred on or about 3/9/22.
