29 CFR 1910.213(r)(4): Suitable guard(s) were not provided to reduce to a minimum the hazard due to the point of operation : a.) Burke & Sons, Inc. - On or about 3/8/22, and at times prior thereto, the Lobo Up Cut saw was not guarded adequately and/or so designed and constructed as to prevent the employees from having any fingers in the saw blade area during operation of the saw blade. While in operation/making the cut, the guard did not adequately cover the exposed section of the saw blade. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
