No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route: On or about March17, 2022, the employer did not ensure that all exit routes were kept free of obstructions. Storage racking containing auto parts was placed within exit routes along the east wall of the Warehouse and Storage area, thereby exposing employees to fire and emergency egress hazards.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(5): Each doorway or passage along an exit access that could be mistaken for an exit was not marked "Not an Exit" or similar designation, or be identified by a sign indicating its actual use (e.g. closet): On or about March 17, 2022, the employer did not remove a lighted exit sign in the Warehouse and Storage area where the exit door had been removed and closed off with cinder blocks, potentially causing delays and/or harm to the employees attempting to exit the building during an emergency.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical: On or about March 17, 2022, the employer did not ensure secondary containers of hazardous chemicals were properly labeled with the name and associated hazards. There was a plastic drum container which stored used automotive anti-freeze.
