29 CFR 1926.1417(e)(1):The operator must not leave the controls while the load is suspended: a) 11395 W Annata St., Nampa, ID 83651: On or about March 17, 2022; a crane with a suspended load of shingles on a pallet, was left unattended when the operator went onto the roof to assist in the unloading of the pallet. The load was suspended approximately 30 feet from the ground below and over a residential roof. Note - Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.1427(a): The employer did not ensure that each operator is trained, certified/ licensed, and evaluated in accordance with this section before operating any equipment covered under subpart CC, except for the equipment listed in paragraph (a)(2) of this section. a) 11395 W Annata St., Nampa, ID 83651: On or about March 17, 2022; a crane used to lift roofing materials, including shingles, to the second-floor roof was operated by an employee who had not been trained or licensed to operate cranes. The operator left the crane with a suspended load, and went onto the roof to assist in the unloading of the pallet. Note - Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item.
